Carlos Sánchez

Carlos Sánchez is the current Director of Commercial at Wiserentr. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Executive Officer of Aplazame from March 2020 to September 2020. Carlos was also on the Statutory advisory panel for the UK Payment Systems Regulator. From April 2015 to December 2017, Sanchez was a part of the Strategy Payments Forum, an expert group formed by the UK payments regulator to define the UK payments strategy. Lastly, they served as the Chief Executive Officer of ipagoo from August 2011 to August 2019. ipagoo is the first Pan-European Digital Bank specialised in "everyday banking" and operating in open architecture.

Carlos Sánchez has an MBA in Finance from IMD and an engineering degree in telecommunications from Universidade de Vigo.
