Ben Names has extensive experience in aerospace engineering, currently serving as the Manager of Composites Engineering Analysis at Wisk since May 2022. Prior to this role, Ben was the Director of Aerostructures at Kittyhawk, following positions as Lead Stress Engineer and Senior Stress Engineer. At Structural Design and Analysis, Inc., Ben acted as the lead stress analyst for major projects including the Sierra Nevada FAST and DreamChaser Programs, and conducted critical stress analyses for Lockheed Martin's Orion Space Capsule among others. Ben's foundational engineering work included leading the Design/Build/Fly! team at Virginia Tech, where a lightweight composite structure for an aircraft was developed. Ben holds a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Virginia Tech.
