Dhruv Pandya

Dhruv Pandya has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Currently, they are the Director Information Security at Wistia, where they are responsible for creating and driving information security governance strategies, implementing security risk management and vulnerability management programs, and educating employees on security and data privacy.

Prior to Wistia, Dhruv worked at J.D. Power as a Senior Manager Information Security, where they managed the information security function and implemented strategies. Dhruv also served as an Information Security Specialist at J.D. Power, overseeing global locations and successfully managing SOC2 type audits and HIPAA audits.

Dhruv also volunteered at Turning Point Foundation as an Information Technology Volunteer, where they conducted system security audits, developed user identity management strategies, and analyzed vendor requests. Additionally, they had various roles at California State University Channel Islands, including being a student committee member, IT infrastructure student assistant, computer science/math tutor, and a student member of the Food Services Committee.

Prior to their professional experience, Dhruv had an internship at Madhya Gujarat Vij Company Limited. Dhruv holds a Master's degree in Science, as well as certifications in CISM, CISA, and CIAM.

Dhruv Pandya holds a Master's Degree in Computer Science from California State University Channel Islands (2015-2017) and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from G.H. Raisoni Institute of Engineering And Technology, Pune (2008-2014). Dhruv also obtained a Diploma in Cyber Law from Government Law College, Mumbai in 2010. Dhruv has completed a Javascript Course from Codecademy in 2017 and a Cohort XXVI program in Organizational Leadership from Ventura County Leadership Academy in 2020-2021. Dhruv has additional certifications including Certified Information Systems Auditor® (CISA) and Certified Information Security Manager® (CISM) from ISACA, as well as a Certified Identity and Access Manager (CIAM) certification from the Identity Management Institute. Dhruv has also completed various courses and trainings related to cybersecurity, email protection, PowerShell, cloud security, computer forensics, and diversity and inclusion.
