Lauren Perry

Lauren Perry, SHRM-CP has over 10 years of diverse work experience in various HR roles. Lauren began their career as an Office Assistant at Nassau Guidance and Counseling Center and then worked as a Human Resources Generalist at Dylan's Candy Bar. Lauren also served as a Mental Health Counseling Intern at Pederson Krag and Family Service League before transitioning to the role of Counselor/Administrative Assistant at Jennings Counseling Services. Lauren then gained experience as an HR Representative at ProHEALTH Care Assoc., where they managed various HR responsibilities for a large organization. Lauren went on to work as a Human Resources Business Partner at Henry Schein, handling the HR needs of multiple departments and managing staffing changes. Lauren then joined HubSpot as a Human Resources Business Partner, supporting the Customer Success organization and collaborating with the leadership team to align HR strategy with business objectives. Most recently, Lauren held the position of Director, HR & People at Valimail before taking on their current role as Director of People Operations & HR Business Partnership at Wistia.

Lauren Perry, SHRM-CP, holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Mental Health Counseling/Counselor from Adelphi University, which they completed from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Sociology from Adelphi University, where they studied from 2008 to 2012. In addition to their education, Lauren has also obtained certifications including SHRM-CP from SHRM in 2016 and is a Predictive Index Practitioner certified by Predictive Index by RHSweeney Austin.
