Sofía Blanco Salas

Sofía Blanco Salas has worked in various roles in the film industry since 2017. Sofía began as an Assistant of Production at the Centro Costarricense de Producción Cinematográfica. In 2017, they also served as a Jurado Mezcal for the FICG Festival Internacional de Cine en Guadalajara. From 2019 to 2021, they worked as a Professor of Editing at Universidad Creativa. Currently, they are a Creative Designer and Post-Producer at WITHIN.

Sofía Blanco Salas pursued a Licenciatura in Cine y Televisión from the Universidad LCI Veritas from 2014 to 2019. In 2021, they began their Maestría in Cine Experimental from LAV. That same year, they also completed a Course in Anthropology of Home from UCL and a Conservación, preservación y restauración del patrimonio fílmico y audiovisual from the Centro Costarricense de Producción Cinematográfica.
