Pilvi Tunturi

Pilvi Tunturi has a diverse work experience in the fields of cybersecurity and technology. Pilvi is currently working with WithSecure since 2022, holding the position of Vice President of XDR R&D. Previously, they worked at F-Secure Corporation for several years, starting as a Technical Product Manager in 2012 and eventually becoming the Vice President of Detection and Response RD. Among their various roles at F-Secure, Pilvi has served as a Principal Architect and a Business Architect, demonstrating their expertise in architecture and business development. Before their time at F-Secure, they gained experience in project management and quality engineering at F-Secure Corporation. Pilvi also worked as a Travel Agent at Suomen Matkatoimisto in their early career.

Pilvi Tunturi holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Information Technology from the University of Oulu, which they obtained from 2002 to 2005. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Business and Administration with a focus on Information Technology at Rovaniemi Polytechnic from 1999 to 2002. Pilvi also obtained a vocational qualification in Business and Administration with a specialization in Travel and Tourism from Pohjois-Lapin Ammatti-instituutti from 1995 to 1997.

In terms of additional certifications, Pilvi Tunturi completed the "AWS Fundamentals: Going Cloud-Native" course from Coursera in 2019 and became an AWS Cloud Practitioner certified by Amazon Web Services (AWS) in March 2020. Pilvi also holds the Certified Scrum Master certification from Scrum Alliance.
