Mark Fortugno

Mark Fortugno has an extensive work experience spanning several companies and industries. Mark is currently the Chief Operating Officer at WithYouWithMe, a position they have held since June 2023. Mark also serves as the Global Chief Financial Officer for the same company, a role they took on in October 2021.

Prior to joining WithYouWithMe, Mark was a Director at Care 2 Pty Ltd starting in October 2022.

Before that, they worked as the Chief Financial Officer at Smartpay Australia from November 2020 to November 2021.

Mark also served as the Chief Financial Officer at Trippas White Group from September 2019 to December 2020.

In addition, Mark has significant experience as a Director at Ionic Associates, where they supported listed companies and entrepreneurs in their growth endeavors. Notably, they led capital raising activities for WithYouWithMe and served as Interim CFO for Smartpay Payments.

Mark also held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Epsilon Healthcare Limited from January 2018 to September 2019.

Prior to that, Mark held the role of Chief Financial Officer/Company Secretary at Cater Care Holdings P/L for almost a decade, leading significant business remodeling and growth initiatives. Mark also briefly served as the Deputy CFO at the same company.

Earlier in their career, Mark worked as a Cross Border Tax Manager at KPMG LLP, where they focused on US Tax, Cross Border Tax, Corporate Tax, and Consulting. Mark managed a client portfolio consisting mainly of multinational corporations.

Mark began their career as a Senior Analyst - Financial Reporting at SNC-Lavalin.

Mark Fortugno completed their Bachelor's Degree in Business and Commerce from Concordia University in the period from 1997 to 2001. Mark pursued further education at McGill University from 2002 to 2005, where they attained a Post Graduate degree in Chartered Accountancy. In 2005, Mark obtained the CA (Chartered Accountant - Canada) designation from Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand. Mark also received the CPA (Certified Public Accountant - Illinois) certification from Certified Public Accountant in 2006. In 2008, they obtained the CA (Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand) degree from Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand. In 2012, Mark attended the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Additionally, in 2015, they participated in the Leadership Program at Harvard University through the Harvard Club of Australia Professional Program. Mark has also obtained several certifications, including a security clearance from Agsva (Australian Government security clearance), and certifications in Certified Public Accountant - Illinois, and Chartered Accountancy from Canada and Australia.
