Robyn is a prominent well networked figure in the health sector in Southern Africa, Africa and Globally. Her career spans decades, demonstrating a significant background in international development funded initiatives, with full-time, long-term experience working with the United Nations, the European Commission, and the UK Department for International Development. Robyn demonstrates skills in leadership, problem solving, project mobilization, implementation, phase out, compliance, procurement, budget, contract and consultancy management.
Robyn has worked in various countries in Southern Africa and beyond, gaining valuable insights into the diverse health challenges and opportunities on the continent and globally.
Robyn contributed to the founding of the Global Fund.
Robyn founded and currently leads Supporting Health Initiatives, a division of Wits Health Consortium providing project management and coordination support to health systems strengthening initiatives in Africa.
Robyn has made significant contributions to the field of National Regulatory Authority capacity development, the operationalization of the African Medicines Agency as well as vaccine manufacturing, particularly focusing on the African continent.
