Matthew Davison is an experienced educator and coach with a strong background in physical education and science. Currently serving as a Science Teacher at Wixams Academy since January 2023, Matthew has also held significant roles such as Head of Year-ELT at Marston Vale School and Etonbury Academy, where responsibilities included leading year teams and supporting transitions into GCSE. Additionally, Matthew manages the U13 boys district football team for Bedfordshire FA, focusing on talent selection and training. Previous positions include acting Head of Year 7 and various teaching roles across several disciplines. Matthew holds a PGCE in Secondary Physical Education with a Primary Specialism from the University of Exeter and a BSc (Hons) in Sport and Exercise Science from Leeds Beckett University.
