Jarel Threat

Jarel Threat has a strong background in illustration and comic art. Jarel began their career as a freelance artist in 2010, before working as a concept artist for Moonbase Studios in 2015. In 2016, Jarel freelanced for Strait City Productions, where they created illustrations for the graphic novel Therians: The Awakening Vol. 1. Jarel then joined Verse Comics in 2019 as the Lead Artist. Currently, Jarel is working as an Illustrator for Wizards of the Coast since 2020. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated skills in book cover design, composition, panel layout, penciling, inking, and coloring.

Jarel Threat attended Ringling College of Art and Design from 2008 to 2012, where they earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Illustration.
