Andrés Richner Maldonado has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. Andrés started their career as a Lecturer at the University of Pennsylvania, teaching Spanish courses and providing instructional technology guidance. Andrés then worked as an Associate Lecturer at Teachers College, Columbia University, co-teaching a graduate seminar on Emotional Intelligence and Technology.

Moving on, Maldonado joined The Calhoun School as the Technology Director for the Middle School, where they created a mobile technology lab, updated technology integration strategies, and developed and taught technology-focused experimental classes. Andrés also worked as a Content Writer and Media Consultant at EyeTour.com, contributing research, content strategy, and copywriting for a tourism platform.

Maldonado then transitioned into the field of user experience design, working as a UX Research Consultant at Facebook. Andrés later joined Amplify as a Design Lead, where they designed solutions for professional development in education, conducted user research, and facilitated in-person usability testing. Andrés also worked as a Senior UX Designer at Intelligaia LLC, where they consulted on solving complex problems for enterprise software.

Maldonado joined Yale University as the Director of Technology and Lead Product Designer, where they created a plan for digitizing RULER into an online learning platform and successfully delivered the first version. Following that, they became a Board Member at I'll Go First, contributing to trauma-informed programming and exploring technological applications for storytelling.

Currently, Maldonado is working at WizeHive as the Senior Director of Product Research and Design. Andrés'sresponsibilities include leading product research and design efforts, directing user research and usability testing, and working on expanding features and enhancing usability of the platform. Andrés is also involved in forging a new vision for Zengine, WizeHive's B2B offering for grants management, and enhancing the Bright Funds CSR platform.

Andrés Richner Maldonado completed their Bachelor's degree in Psychology at Princeton University from 1995 to 1999. Andrés then pursued further education and received a Master's degree in Communications, Computing, Technology, and Education from Teachers College, Columbia University, from 2004 to 2006.
