Jason Cyr

Jason Cyr has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Jason began their career as a private tutor, helping children between the ages of 4 and 12 with their studies in French and English. Their role involved developing their oral and written competencies in both languages.

Additionally, Jason has worked as a professional substitute teacher in multiple school districts, including North Vancouver School District #44, Surrey Schools (School District #36 Surrey), and Delta School District 37. Jason specialized in teaching French (Core French and French Immersion) and Social Studies, both in-person and online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Furthermore, Jason has held positions in operations management at Wizeprep, an education company. Jason was responsible for recruiting class reps, maintaining a database, and updating website and database information for live prep courses.

Prior to their teaching and tutoring roles, Jason worked as a stock inventory associate at Summit Tools and as a rental representative at National Car & Truck Rental. Following this, they pursued a Master's Degree (thesis option) in French Language and Literature at UBC from 2014 to 2016.
