Brie Koenigs has a strong background in marketing and business development within the wine and spirits industry. Brie currently holds the position of Vice President, Fine Wine Marketing at Deutsch Family Wine & Spirits since October 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Member at Chief from January 2022 to January 2023.
Before their current roles, they spent a significant portion of their career at E. & J. Gallo Winery, where they held various positions including Marketing Director, Heritage Luxury Brands, Marketing Director, Senior Brand Manager, Marketing Manager, Associate Marketing Manager, and Assistant Marketing Manager from 2010 to 2021.
Earlier in their career, they worked as the Director of Marketing & Business Development at Market Track from April 2009 to December 2009, and as an Assistant Marketing Manager at Terlato Wines International from April 2007 to April 2009.
Brie also worked at Market Track as a National Accounts Manager and Account Executive from 2000 to 2007. Brie Koenigs has a wealth of experience and expertise in marketing and has consistently contributed to the growth and success of the companies they have worked for.
Brie Koenigs has a diverse education history that spans multiple years and fields of study. Brie completed their undergraduate degree at Northwestern University from 1996 to 2000, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Education & Social Policy. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued further education at the University of Chicago in 2004 and 2005, where they obtained a Certificate in Integrated Marketing. Brie then went on to attend Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management from 2006 to 2009, where they obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. During their time at Kellogg, they focused on various areas including Marketing Management, Management & Strategy, and International Business.
In addition to their academic achievements, Brie has also obtained certifications in the field of wine and spirits. In 2008, they earned the designation of Certified Specialist of Wine (CSW) from the Society of Wine Educators. Furthermore, in September 2021, they achieved the WSET Level 3 certification with Merit from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET).
