Dwain Hutchinson

Dwain Hutchinson is a seasoned maritime professional currently serving as Managing Director and CEO of the Bahamas Maritime Authority since February 2003, where responsibilities include overseeing the Seafarers and Manning Section, developing related policies, and ensuring quality control for seafarer certification and ship inspections. Additionally, Dwain holds the position of Executive Governor at the World Maritime University since June 2018 and has prior experience as a Deck Officer at Denholm Ship Management from 1983 to 1996. Educational qualifications include a Postgraduate Certificate in Law and an MBA in Business Studies, both obtained from The Open University.
