Daniel J. Darnell, Jr. has an extensive work experience spanning multiple industries. Daniel J. started their career as an Air Force Academy Cadet Parachute Jumpmaster and Instructor at the United States Air Force Academy from 2000 to 2003. Daniel J. then joined the United States Air Force, where they served as an Officer and Pilot, responsible for providing strategic guidance and piloting combat missions from 2003 to 2010. After their military service, they worked at Hillwood as a Summer Associate in 2011. Daniel J. then joined M&T Bank as a Vice President from 2012 to 2016. Daniel J. further advanced their career at Citizens Financial Group, Inc., where they served as a Managing Director from 2016 to 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Financial Officer at The Wolf Organization, starting in 2022.

Daniel J. Darnell, Jr. holds an MBA degree with concentrations in Finance and Accounting from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree from Penn State University. Daniel J. also holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Management from the United States Air Force Academy. In preparation for their studies at the Air Force Academy, they attended the United States Air Force Academy Preparatory School.

In addition to their formal education, Daniel has obtained various certifications. Daniel J. holds a Lean Six Sigma White Belt Certification from the United States Air Force, which they achieved in June 2008. Daniel J. also holds a Top Secret Security Clearance, obtained in June 2006, also from the United States Air Force. Furthermore, they have completed a 2-day Financial Modeling course, as well as courses in Corporate Finance and Leveraged Buyouts offered by Training The Street. Daniel is also registered with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), holding certifications including Series 63: Uniform Securities Agent and Series 79: Investment Banking Registered Representative, though specific dates of completion are not provided.
