Ginger Dockery has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Most recently, they have been working as the Director of Special Events at the Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts since March 2022. Prior to this, they served as a Board Member at BRAWS, a nonprofit organization that provides undergarments and menstrual supplies to women and girls living in shelters.

Ginger Dockery began their education in 1994 at the Corcoran College of Art, where they pursued Pre-College Coursework in Fine/Studio Arts. Ginger continued their education at the Maryland Institute College of Art from 1997 to 2000, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Interior Architecture and Design.

In addition to their formal education, Ginger has obtained several certifications. In June 2020, they received the Raiser's Edge Fundamentals Certification from Blackbaud. The following month, they obtained the Raiser's Edge Professional Certification. In September 2020, Ginger obtained a certification in Organizational Best Practices: Fundraising from Blackbaud. Ginger'smost recent certification is as a Certified Personal Trainer (NASM-CPT) from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), which they obtained in January 2021.
