Dennis Yao

Dennis Yao is a skilled web developer with extensive experience in front-end and back-end technologies. Currently serving as the Lead Web Developer at Wolfram|Alpha LLC since January 2018, Dennis has previously held the position of Senior Web Developer at Bloomfire, where significant contributions included transitioning a major application from Backbone to React. Prior to that, Dennis worked at Hewlett-Packard as both an IT Web Developer, leading an in-house project management tool development using Angular and Node, and as a Project Operations Analyst, where a reporting system was created using various scripting tools. Dennis began their career as a Hardware Lab Intern at LifeSize Communications, focusing on telecom hardware testing. Academically, Dennis holds a Master's degree in Media and Communications from the European Graduate School and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.
