Director Product Line at Wolfspeed

Sascha Dern has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Starting in 1986, Dern worked as a Sales Assistant at Kunze und Baumgärtner, a local retail store, for nearly a decade. In 1993, Dern also had a self-employed sales position.

In 1996, Dern transitioned into the field of project management at Lahmeyer International, where they served as a Project Management Assistant until 1998.

In 1998, Dern joined Texas Instruments, initially as a European Graduate, followed by roles as a Field Sales Engineer and an Account Manager within the company.

From 2002 to 2011, Dern worked at EM Microelectronic-Marin SA and held various managerial positions, such as North American Regional Sales & Distribution Manager and WW Distribution Manager.

In 2011, Dern moved on to First Sensor AG, where they assumed the role of Director of International Sales and Strategic Business Development.

From 2012 to 2016, Dern worked for Lantiq, an Intel Company, as the Senior Director of different divisions, including Head of Business Line Home Network Components and Market Development Management.

From 2016 to 2021, Dern joined Infineon Technologies, serving as the Director of Marketing and then as the Senior Director and Head of Product Group LPD.

Most recently, Dern has been working at Wolfspeed since 2021, first as the Power Modules Product Director Automotive and currently as the Director of Product Line.

Sascha Dern obtained a Dipl. Ing. degree in EE/Solid State Technology from Technische Universität Darmstadt from 1992 to 1998. Prior to that, they completed their Abitur at Einhard Schule Seligenstadt in Germany from 1983 to 1991. Additionally, Sascha Dern obtained several certifications, including "Being a Good Mentor," "Körpersprache für Führungskräfte," and "Managing Your Manager," from LinkedIn in 2019.
