Mike Romine has extensive experience in the culinary and community service sectors. Currently serving in Culinary Development at Wolverine Packing Co. since July 2020, Mike previously held the position of President at Farm Field Table, a farm-to-table startup focused on whole animal butchery from January 2017 to February 2020. Mike also contributed as a City Commissioner for the City of Imlay City from August 2014 to August 2019, overseeing various city projects, including infrastructure improvements and community engagement initiatives. As Executive Chef and Owner of The Mulefoot Gastropub from September 2013 to August 2019, Mike developed a forward-thinking menu at a scratch kitchen recognized as one of the Top 100 Restaurants in America by OpenTable. Earlier, Mike served as Executive Chef at Lajitas Golf Resort and Spa in 2009-2010. Mike holds an Associate of Science degree in Culinary Arts from Johnson & Wales University, completed in 2007.
