Women For Human Rights, single women group (WHR)
Meghna Karmacharya is currently serving as a Research and Events Intern at Women For Human Rights (WHR) since September 2025. Previously, Meghna worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, contributing to a professor-led study on presidential power in the U.S. At Mount Holyoke College, Meghna held various roles, including Senior Admissions Ambassador, Outreach Fellow for Community and Belonging, Peer Facilitator, and President of the Nepali Student Organization, among others. Meghna has gained experience through internships at the U.S. House of Representatives and the EU Delegation to the United States. Educational qualifications include a B.A. in Political Science and Government with a Nexus in Law, Public Policy, and Human Rights from Mount Holyoke College, complemented by research volunteering at Karuna Center for Peacebuilding and earlier roles focused on research and media at BIOVAC.
