Vanessa Butani

Vanessa Butani has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Vanessa is currently a Co-Designer at Women for Leaders, a position they started in September 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Board Member at Mistra Center for Sustainable Markets (Misum) starting from May 2022.

From 2021 to 2022, Vanessa worked at Electrolux, where they held positions of VP Group Sustainability and Head of Sustainability BA Europe.

Before Electrolux, they worked at Scandic Hotels as the Director of Sustainable Business from April 2018 to December 2020.

Vanessa's earlier experience includes roles at Electrolux, where they worked from 2010 to 2016. During this time, they served as the Director of Connectivity Strategy & Ecosystems, Program Manager Connected Appliances, and Senior Manager Sustainability Strategies.

Prior to Electrolux, they worked at Plan International as the Head of Planning and Development from August 2009 to March 2010.

Vanessa began their career at Accenture as a Strategy Consultant. Vanessa held this position from January 2006 to July 2009, and also previously worked as a Strategy Consultant from March 2003 to December 2005.

Vanessa Butani completed their undergraduate studies at the Ivey Business School at Western University from 1998 to 2002. During this time, they pursued a degree in Business Administration with a focus on international studies. Following their graduation, in 2002, Vanessa attended Esade as an exchange student where they continued their studies in Business Administration with a focus on international studies.
