Marta Passadouro

Marta Passadouro is an experienced healthcare professional serving as the EITHealth InnoStars Ecosystem Lead in Portugal since June 2022, focusing on innovation, training, and business creation to enhance health outcomes. As a co-founder of Women in Global Health Portugal, Marta promotes gender equality in health leadership and champions the WGH Lusophone Initiative for empowering women in health across Portuguese-speaking African countries. Previously, Marta held roles such as Managing Director at CoimbraHealth, where strategic partnerships were developed, and as a Science Manager at the Institute for Interdisciplinary Research at the University of Coimbra, facilitating innovative research and technology transfer. Marta's academic background includes a PhD in Biochemical Technology from Universidade de Coimbra, contributing to extensive research in microRNA therapeutics and various biotechnology projects.
