Women's Public Leadership Network names five new Board Directors
Non-profit advocacy group, the Women's Public Leadership Network (WPLN) has announced the appointment of five new members on its Board of Directors. Jessica Rubie, Dee Dee Bass Wilbon, Matthew Ralston, Amy Whited, and Joel Noyes join four remaining WPLN board members to provide strategic guidance for the group going forward. "I am thrilled to welcome Jessica, Dee Dee, Matthew, Amy, and Joel to the board of directors," said WPLN Co-Founder and President Larissa Martinez. "I am especially excited to have their expertise and support as we continue to build and share resources to help women across the country seek public office and serve their communities." Jessica Rubie is the Executive Director, Flourish at Texas A&M University. Flourish is the university's employee wellness and engagement initiative, where she leads program development and implementation. She has more than 20 years of experience in program delivery and advocacy. Dee Dee Bass Wilbon has been a Partner at Bass Public Affairs for more than 13 years. Her specialties include public relations, public affairs, coalition building, corporate branding, and non-profit development. Matthew Ralston is the Manager of State Affairs at law firm Troutman Pepper Strategies. He was formerly the company’s manager and legislative research analyst, and prior to that served as a faculty member at the University of Georgia. Amy Whited serves as Regional Director, Government Relations & Public Affairs at pharmaceuticals company UCB. She has more than 20 years of experience working across public and private companies in organizational, advocacy and leadership roles. Joel Noyes is Senior Manager of Government & External Affairs at energy company Hess Corporation. He spent two years working in The White House Office of Legislative Affairs and has been a senior leader at Hill+Knowlton Strategies and Public Strategies, Inc..
