Mafalda Johannsen

Mafalda Johannsen has a diverse work experience. Mafalda currently serves as the Director of Business Development & Customer Success at Wonderway, where they oversee two departments and is responsible for hiring, training, and optimizing processes. Mafalda also creates training content and is a moderator and speaker in sales webinars. Mafalda is also a Sales Enablement Consultant at Wonderway.

Mafalda is a member of RevGenius, a role they took on in 2022. Previously, Mafalda worked as the Marketing & PR for Plasticine, a world music band, and held various positions at Applause. At Applause, they were the Team Lead Business Development (UK+France), where they trained and mentored a team of 8 BDRs and collaborates with other departments. Mafalda also held positions as a Senior Business Development Executive and a Business Development Executive.

Prior to their time at Applause, Mafalda worked at SANDEMANs NEW Europe Tours as an Executive Assistant, Interim Operations Manager, and Sales Trainer. Before that, they were a Tour Supervisor/Meeting Point Manager. Mafalda also has experience as a Community Marketing Agent at Wyndham Vacation Ownership and as a Sales Agent at Westgate Resorts. Mafalda's work experience also includes a research assistant position at the University of Central Florida.

Mafalda Johannsen has a diverse education history. Mafalda obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management from ISCTE - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa, graduating in 2011. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management from the same institution, completing it in 2012. In 2013, they attended the University of Central Florida to further specialize in Hospitality and Tourism Management, earning another Master's degree. Additionally, in 2009, Mafalda attended the University of Seoul during the summer to study Korean Language and Special Topics on Asian Studies. Before their higher education, they also received training in music at the Music School - Academia de Música de Lagos (Portugal) between 2001 and 2008.
