Ed Crooks

Ed Crooks is a seasoned professional in the energy and economics sectors, currently serving as Vice-chairman of energy for the Americas at Wood Mackenzie since September 2019. Crooks previously held various senior editorial roles at The Financial Times from December 1999 to July 2019, including US industry and energy editor, energy editor, UK news editor, and economics editor. Additionally, Crooks was a commissioner for the Sustainable Development Commission from 2002 to 2005 and worked as an assistant producer for BBC Newsnight in 1994. Crooks earned a degree from the University of Oxford between 1984 and 1987.
