Marek Niedzielak has extensive work experience in the offshore and structural engineering industry. Marek currently serves as the Chief Consultant and Country Manager for Wood Thilsted, where they are responsible for expanding the company's presence in the Polish offshore wind market, establishing a new office in Warsaw, and building a local team. Marek is actively involved in business development and forming client relationships with Polish and international developers. Prior to this, Marek held positions at DNV and BP, where they worked on various offshore projects, including the design and analysis of wind turbine foundations, platform decommissioning, and structural integrity assessments. Marek has also worked as a reservoir core analyst and a research scientist at Integrated Core Consultancy Services Ltd and ABB Corporate Research, respectively.

Marek Niedzielak has a Certificate of Professional Education in Offshore Wind Farm Technology: Design, Installation, and Operation from Delft University of Technology, obtained in 2021. Marek also holds a Master's Degree in Computational Mechanics in Civil Engineering from Politechnika Krakowska im. Tadeusza Kościuszki, completed from 1998 to 2003. Marek received their High School Diploma with a specialty in Maths, Physics & IT from Secondary School in Krakow, Poland in 1998. Marek also obtained a High School Diploma from Birch Run High School in Michigan, USA, during the year 1996 and 1997. Marek has additional certifications, such as Introduction to Offshore Wind Renewables, Offshore Wind Farm Technology: Design, Installation, and Operation (short course), Wind Energy online course, Developing Your Emotional Intelligence, Chartered Civil Engineer (CEng MICE) from the Institution of Civil Engineers in 2012, and Chartered Engineer from the Engineering Council in 2012.
