Omer Can Kucukyildiz

Omer Can Kucukyildiz has extensive work experience in various engineering roles. Omer Can is currently working at Wood Thilsted as a Lead Engineer & Team Lead, starting in November 2023. Prior to this role, they held the position of Senior Engineer at Wood Thilsted from April 2022 to October 2023, and an Engineer from August 2020 to April 2022.

In addition to their work at Wood Thilsted, Omer Can Kucukyildiz has also worked as an External Lecturer at DTU - Technical University of Denmark from November 2020 to May 2023.

Before joining DTU, they were employed as a Postdoctoral Researcher at DTU from May 2019 to August 2020 and worked as a Ph.D. Candidate from September 2015 to May 2019.

Omer Can Kucukyildiz started their professional career as an Engineering Intern at MAN Energy Solutions from September 2012 to January 2013.

Omer Can Kucukyildiz holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Materials and Manufacturing Engineering from DTU - Technical University of Denmark, which they completed between 2013 and 2015. Omer Can also pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution from 2009 to 2013. In 2014, they participated in a study abroad program at Stanford University. Prior to their university education, Omer Can Kucukyildiz attended Christianshavn Gymnasium from 2006 to 2008, and before that, they completed their secondary education at TED Ankara Koleji from 2003 to 2006.
