Helena Waldie

Helena Waldie has had a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Helena started their career in the US Army as a Production Control Manager and Sergeant in the Aviation Brigade from 1991 to 1997. Following this, they worked as a Pharmacy Technician at Walmart from 1997 to 2002.

In 2002, Waldie joined Developer Mortgage Corporation, where they worked in operations, preparing loan documents, funding loans, and providing customer service until 2004. Helena then moved on to Bank of America as an Account Executive for Countrywide Home Loans, where they built relationships with loan originators and real estate agents, met sales goals, and ensured customer service until 2006.

From 2006 to 2007, Waldie worked as a Net Branch Operator at Premier Mortgage Funding, where they solicited and built relationships with local real estate agents and provided loan services to potential home buyers.

Later in 2008, they returned to Woodforest National Bank as a Human Resources Recruiter, responsible for talent acquisition, maintaining relationships for employment opportunities, and promoting diversity in the workforce. Helena served in this role until 2017.

In 2017, Waldie briefly worked as a Job Recruiter at AMIkids, where they fostered relationships with businesses to create employment opportunities for AMIkids youth, provided professional guidance and support to the youth, and helped improve their interviewing skills.

Most recently, Waldie returned to Woodforest National Bank as a Human Resources Recruiter in 2017, continuing their work in talent acquisition, relationship management, and promoting diversity in the workforce.

Helena Waldie earned their Associate's Degree in Associates of Science from Midlands Technical College, which they completed from 1997 to 1999. Helena then went on to obtain their Bachelor's Degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services, with a focus on Human Resources, from the University of South Carolina Darla Moore School of Business. Helena attended this institution from 1999 to 2001. Finally, Helena pursued their Master's Degree in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General at Central Michigan University, completing their studies from 2012 to 2015.
