David Eastman

David Eastman has over 20 years of work experience in the field of tax. David is currently the Vice President of Tax at Woodgrain, a position they have held since November 2022. Prior to joining Woodgrain, David worked as a Tax Director at PwC from March 2022 to November 2022. David also served as the Corporate Tax Director at Woodgrain from January 2007 to March 2022. David has had roles in tax management at Itron and BDO USA, LLP, where they worked as a Tax Manager from 2005 to 2007 and from 2002 to 2005, respectively. Additionally, they worked as a Tax & Treasury Specialist at Telect from 2000 to 2002 and as a Senior Tax Associate at PwC from 1998 to 2000. In addition to their corporate roles, David has also taught senior-level accounting courses as an Adjunct Accounting Instructor at The College of Idaho from 2011 to 2013.

David Eastman holds a Master of Accountancy degree with a tax emphasis, which they obtained from Brigham Young University in 1998. David also earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the same institution in the same year. In terms of certifications, they became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) accredited by the Washington State Board of Accountancy in 1999, the Idaho State Board of Accountancy in 2010, and the Oregon State Board of Accountancy in 2012.
