Qazi Hasan has extensive experience in program management and advocacy, currently serving as the Director of Newcomer Programs and Services at WoodGreen Community Services since March 2006. Previously, Qazi held various roles within WoodGreen, including Senior Manager and Manager of Employment Services. As an Aspen Institute Economic Opportunities Fellow from September 2018 to September 2020, Qazi focused on economic development initiatives. Earlier career highlights include working as a Program Officer with Right To Play, overseeing projects in multiple countries, and serving as Project Coordinator for the Comprehensive Primary Education Project at German Technical Cooperation. Qazi also led the Advocacy and Information Unit at NGO Forum for Public Health and worked as a Research Associate at the Association of Development Agencies in Bangladesh. Qazi's educational background includes a Master of Arts in English Language and Literature from the University of Dhaka and ongoing studies at various institutions, including York University and the Advocacy Institute in the USA.
