Christy Chen

Christy Chen is a quantitative researcher at Woodline Partners LP since October 2024, with previous experience as a data scientist at Point72 from December 2019 to December 2023. Prior roles include serving as a junior data scientist at Soothsayer Analytics and as a research assistant at the University of Michigan, where Christy developed a data preprocessing pipeline in Python for exome sequencing data related to Type II Diabetes, and at Mount Holyoke College, where a Bayesian hierarchical model was constructed to analyze cardiovascular disease pathways. Christy holds a Master of Science in Biostatistics from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Arts in Statistics with a minor in Economics from Mount Holyoke College.
