Steffen Paul

Steffen Paul has been in the IT industry since 1993. Steffen began their career at Arthur Andersen Business Consulting, where they were a Manager. In this role, they were responsible for IT strategy and governance consulting, project management of ERP implementations, and development and teaching of trainings in project management and software development methods. Steffen then moved to DAB bank AG in 1998, where they were the CIO (Chief Information Officer). In 2008, they were the Interim Managing Director of Leonardo Venture GmbH & Co. KGaA. Steffen also served as the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of avarexx AG in 2009. In 1999, they founded Woodmark Consulting AG, where they were the Founder and Member of the Supervisory Board and the Founder and Member of the Executive Board. In this role, they were responsible for IT Management Consulting with a focus on digitization, IT strategy and governance, and program and project management of projects in digitization, software development and ERP/CRM implementations. Steffen then founded fortexx GmbH in 2011, where they were the Founder and Managing Director. In this role, they were responsible for IT Management Consulting with a focus on digitization, IT strategy, governance and agile transformation, Project Portfolio Management, and program and project management of projects in digitization, software development and ERP/CRM implementations. Steffen has experience in countries such as England, France, Germany, India, Iran, Turkey, and the USA.

Steffen Paul obtained a Diploma in Applied Mathematics (Wirtschaftsmathematik) from Ulm University between 1987 and 1993. Steffen also holds a Certificate in Developing a Leading Edge Operations Strategy from MIT Sloan Executive Education obtained in July 2019.
