Shixian Lu

Shixian Lu has a diverse work experience in the design industry. Starting in 2014, Shixian worked as an Interior Design Intern at ID21, where they assisted in corporate design and worked on projects with senior staff designers. In 2015, Shixian held multiple roles, including Freelance Graphic Designer at DesignCrowd, Drafter/Graphic Designer at Acesean, and Interior Designer at Winstudio Architects, where they assisted in design decisions, 3D modeling, and rendering.

In 2017, Shixian worked briefly as an Event Designer at MediaLink. The following year, they took on the role of Graphic Designer at HWKR, responsible for graphic design work. In the same year, Shixian also worked as an Artist at DOLCE&GABBANA S.r.l, showcasing their artistic abilities.

From 2018 to 2021, Shixian worked as an Artist at The Sneaker Laundry, gaining recognition for their sneaker customization services and releasing hand-painted Nike Air Force One sneakers. Additionally, Shixian provided custom design consulting to customers.

Most recently, in 2019, Shixian joined DB&B as an Interior Designer, where they worked until 2021. Currently, Shixian holds the position of Interior Designer at Woods Bagot, starting in 2022.

Shixian Lu began their education at Ang Mo Kio Secondary School from 2008 to 2011, where they obtained a GCE O level Certificate. Later on, from 2012 to 2015, Shixian Lu attended Temasek Polytechnic to pursue a Diploma in Interior Architecture and Design. In 2016, they enrolled at the University of Melbourne, specializing in Architecture and earning a Bachelor of Environments degree. Continuing their education, Shixian Lu completed a Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Studies at RMIT University from 2017 to 2018, with a focus in Early Childhood Education and Teaching.
