Paul Gallagher has a diverse and extensive work experience in the maritime industry. Paul is currently the Director of Ship Operations at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, where they manage the safe operation and maintenance of the organization's research vessels. Prior to this, they held various roles at Foss Maritime Company, including Vice President of Marine Services and Business Development. In these positions, they were responsible for negotiating contracts, acquiring equipment, and managing a fleet of ocean-going vessels and barges. Paul also worked as the Director of Oil Field Services and Global Marine and Project Logistics, expanding the company's business and developing new opportunities. Before joining Foss Maritime, Paul was the Manager of Marine Operations in the Pacific Northwest for a vessel fleet in Puget Sound. Paul Gallagher received a Bachelor's degree in Nautical Sciences from Maine Maritime Academy in 1987. Paul also obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Leadership from Seattle University between 2006 and 2008. Additionally, Paul completed a Master's degree in Marine Affairs from the University of Washington with a concentration in Marine Transportation, International Trade, Maritime Law, and Environmental Compliance.
