Kerry Nicholas has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. They started their career at Allied Waste Services in 1994, holding various roles including Controller, Pricing Analyst, and National Account Manager. From 2005 to 2007, Kerry served as the Chief Financial Officer at Ports of Indiana, overseeing the organization's financial operations. They then joined CGG in 2007, where they held roles such as Vessel Manager, Deputy VP Marine Operations, and VP of Human Resources - Marine Acquisition. In 2019, Kerry joined BHP as a Supervisor of Seismic Operations. Currently, they are working at Woodside Energy, first as a Superintendent of Seismic and Survey Operations, and later transitioning to the role of Business Improvement Planning - Principal.

Kerry Nicholas has a diverse education history. In 1990, Kerry obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis. Following this, in 2013, Kerry completed a Management Training Course in Business Administration and Management, General at CEDEP - Executive Development – Fontainebleau.

In addition to formal education, Kerry has also obtained various certifications. In 1993, Kerry became a Certified Public Accountant through the State of Indiana Professional License. More recently, in 2020, Kerry completed a certification in Strategic Thinking through LinkedIn. Additionally, in 2023, Kerry obtained a certification in Managing Innovation, also through LinkedIn.
