Rodrigo Bastidas

Rodrigo Bastidas is a geoscientist with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as Principal Geoscientist II at Woodside Energy since August 2022, Rodrigo previously held the position of Principal Geologist II at BHP from December 2019 to November 2022, and worked as a Geologist and Reservoir Engineer at Marathon Oil Company from May 2006 to December 2019. Rodrigo began a career in geology at Hess Corporation in 2005. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Geology from the University of Oklahoma obtained between 2003 and 2006 and a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Universidad de América completed in 2001.
