Cindy Thamrin is an accomplished academic and researcher with extensive experience in respiratory health and lung function testing. Currently serving as an Adjunct Associate Professor and Principal Research Fellow at the University of Sydney since January 2015, Cindy Thamrin has led research at the Woolcock Institute of Medical Research since April 2011, focusing on the physiological mechanisms of respiratory diseases. In addition to roles at the Australian Government Department of Health and Aged Care as Principal Research Scientist, overseeing performance evaluation for the Medical Research Future Fund, Cindy Thamrin has held positions as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Inselspital Bern and as a Lecturer at the University of Bern. With a PhD in Medicine from The University of Western Australia, along with dual bachelor's degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Physiology, Cindy Thamrin continues to pioneer novel lung function testing methodologies and data analytics in health research.
