Katy M. Graef currently serves as the Vice President of Programs at BIO Ventures for Global Health. Katy M. has a strong background in virology research, having held various positions at the National Institutes of Health. Katy's expertise lies in molecular biology, cell biology, microscopy techniques, and analyzing scientific data. Katy M. holds a Ph.D. in Virology from the University of Oxford and a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from the University of Washington. Their research experience includes studying viral determinants and structural proteins of tick-borne flaviviruses and the role of the influenza A virus PB2 protein in viral pathogenesis.
