Daniel Michalec Gisp

Daniel Michalec, GISP, PMP, serves as the Innovation Portfolio Manager at Woolpert since 2006, leading innovation initiatives and implementing a portfolio approach to research and development. Previously, Daniel held roles including Program Director and Project Manager within the Energy sector and managed diverse projects for Department of Defense clients. Daniel is recognized as a founding member of the firm's Energy practice and played a pivotal role in developing geospatial applications for the Air Force. With a background in academia as an Adjunct Faculty Member at Columbus State Community College and foundational GIS roles in municipal and educational settings, Daniel boasts extensive expertise in GIS and project management. Daniel holds a Master of Arts in Geography/GIS and a Bachelor of Science in Cartography from Ohio University.
