Darryl Newton

Darryl Newton has a long and varied work experience. Starting in 1996, they worked as a Marketing Manager for EMAP, where they were responsible for all trade marketing and distribution of the EMAP Metro portfolio of entertainment led consumer magazines. In 1999, they founded and led Action Sports Media, a Pan European action sports consumer magazine publisher, with editions in English, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese and Russian. In 2006, they founded Factory Media, a multiplatform and market leading media business with unique expertise in branded content production, which they sold successfully in 2012 and again in 2016. In 2017, they took on the roles of Chairman of Cinelab Film and Digital, Non-Executive Director of i2media group, and Mentor of Live2Leave LTD. In 2018, they became an Advisor/ Executive Chairman (interim) of Rouleur. In 2019, they were appointed Managing Director/ COO of Wooshii and Advisor of Clarity. Darryl currently serves as Chairman, MD, Advisor & NED of Darryl Newton Consulting Limited.

Darryl Newton attended Coventry University from 1988 to 1992, where they received a BA (Hons) DipM in business studies. Prior to that, they attended Shrewsbury School from 1983 to 1988.
