Narae Kim

Narae Kim has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and industries. Narae currently serves as the Head of Bmart Business at Woowa Bros., starting in February 2022. Prior to this, they worked as an External Advisor at Kakaocommerce in October and November 2021. Narae also had a stint as an External Advisor at McKinsey & Company from June to August 2021. Their work at HonestFund as the Head of Business Development lasted from January 2020 to June 2021. Before that, they worked as an Associate at McKinsey & Company, where they advised financial service institutions in banking, payments, and capital markets on corporate strategy, new business development, corporate governance, and risk management. Narae was also involved in organizational transformation projects for Korean conglomerates. Narae has previous experience as an MBA Summer Associate at Citi, where they worked in the Citi Holdings FP&A team. Their first professional role was as an Associate at Hana Bank, where they gained experience in client-facing and operational roles in the commercial banking business. Narae also had a summer internship at Mirae Asset Global Investments in their Fixed Income Investment Division. Throughout their career, Narae has developed strong analytical, quantitative, and communication skills, and has demonstrated their ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

Narae Kim completed their Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communication and Applied Statistics from Yonsei University between 2006 and 2011. Narae then went on to pursue a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Finance from Columbia Business School, graduating in 2017.
