Sangyun Han

Sangyun Han has a diverse work experience in various technology-related roles. Sangyun started their career at Samsung Electronics, where they were a part of the Samsung Software Membership, focusing on development projects such as Fence Bug, Android MAME emulator, and Tizen platform SDK evaluation. Sangyun then joined KossLab as a Global Open Source Developer, where they contributed to the open-source community. After that, they worked at ON.Lab as an ONOS Contributor and Ambassador, promoting ONOS projects and building local communities. Soon after, they joined TmaxSoft Inc. as a Software Engineer. At Kakao Corp, Sangyun worked as a Cloud Engineer and Data Engineer in the Cloud Platform Team, focusing on IaaS/CaaS, cloud monitoring, stream processing, DevOps/IaC, and AWS. Sangyun also worked as a Data Engineer at NAVER Corp, before joining Woowa Bros. (now known as Woowa Brothers) as a Data Engineer, where they focused on MLOps, real-time/stream processing, and time estimation/online prediction. In addition to their professional experience, Sangyun organized the Product Analytics Playground (PAP) and contributed to the open-source incubating program, Global Open Source Frontier.

Sangyun Han holds a Master's Degree in Computer Engineering from Kyung Hee University, which was obtained between 2016 and 2018. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering & Electronics and Radio Engineering at the same university from 2012 to 2016.

Additionally, Han has obtained several certifications throughout their education and career. In November 2020, they became an AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate through Amazon Web Services (AWS). In July 2016, they received the Engineer Information Processing certification from the Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning (MSIP) & Human Resources Development Service of Korea. Furthermore, in August 2014, Han completed the Certificate of Completion Kauffman FastTrac: Planning the Entrepreneurial Venture Program offered by Kauffman FastTrac.
