Aidin Panahi

Aidin Panahi, PhD, is an accomplished researcher and educator with extensive experience in energy systems, mechanical engineering, and clean energy technologies. Currently serving as an Assistant Research Professor at Worcester Polytechnic Institute since 2022, Aidin leads efforts in energy and infrastructure research, focusing on clean energy transitions and resource optimization. Previous roles include Engineering Lecturer at Harvard University, where core mechanical engineering courses were taught, and Research Engineer at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, directing advanced energy systems development. Earlier career experience includes laboratory management at Northeastern University and leadership in technical supervision at Hormozgan Regional Electric Company.
