Kevin Lewis

Kevin Lewis is an Assistant Professor of Teaching at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, serving as the Director of the Professional Writing Program since July 2017. Lewis develops curricula and teaches a range of courses, including technical, professional, and academic writing, with a focus on various writing disciplines. Prior to this role, Lewis was an Associate Professor of Practice at Virginia Tech, where expertise in technical writing and online content was applied. As a Technical Writing Consultant since 2007, Lewis has worked with numerous clients, developing technical documentation and strategies across various industries, including software, healthcare, and automotive. Lewis holds a Master of Fine Arts in Writing for the Screen and Stage from Point Park University, a Master of Technical and Professional Writing from Northeastern University, and a Bachelor of Science from Worcester State University, along with a certificate in Feature Film Screenwriting from UCLA Extension.
