Mary L. Calarese

Mary Calarese is the Associate Vice President of Finance and is responsible for financial planning and all financial operations of the institution, including the University’s operating, capital and position budgeting, controller’s office, financial services, financial systems, procurement, mail services, printing services and property management. Prior to joining WPI in 2018, Mary served as Senior Director of Financial Planning and Analysis at Connecticut College and as Associate Director of Fiscal Affairs and Associate Controller at Eastern Connecticut State University. She holds a bachelor’s of science in business administration from Merrimack College and a masters of business administration from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Mary reports directly to Jeffrey Solomon, EVP & CFO.
