Chris Enbom, CLFP has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Chris is currently the CEO and Director of Tokyo Century (USA) Inc. since April 2021. Prior to this, they served as the CEO of FMI Equipment, where they led the growth of the company from one to seven dealerships in the Pacific NW and Northern California. Chris also held the role of CEO at Allegiant Partners Incorporated, a nationwide commercial equipment finance company.
Chris has a strong background in finance and leasing, having worked as a Managing Director at CIBC World Markets, where they structured and closed large ticket equipment financing transactions for various clients. Chris also held the position of Vice President at BankAmerica Leasing, Ingenor Finance, and D'Accord Financial.
Furthermore, Chris gained valuable experience as an intern in aerospace lending at IBJ Leasing. Chris'sexpertise includes structured financings, Japanese leases, Canadian leases, and international transactions. Throughout their career, they have advised and structured transactions for notable clients such as Transport Canada, Air Canada, Bombardier, and others.
Chris Enbom, CLFP, attended the University of California, Berkeley from 1983 to 1987, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Economy of Industrial Societies. In 1987, they continued their education at the UC San Diego School of Global Policy and Strategy (GPS), completing one year of study in Graduate School. Chris'scoursework at this time focused on Japanese, Finance, and International Relations.
In addition to their academic achievements, Chris Enbom obtained the Certified Leasing and Finance Professional (CLFP) certification from the CLFP Association in January 2005.
