Jessie Yu

Jessie Yu has a diverse work experience, having worked in a variety of roles in different industries. In 2022, they joined WORK180 as a Senior Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Account Manager. From 2020 to present, they have been working at Square, first as a Business Development Representative and then as a Sales Development Representative, where they were awarded the highest performing international market SDR in Q4 2020. In 2019, they worked at TREEHUB Zhuhai as a Teacher & Business Development Manager, where they developed and delivered initiatives during the COVID-19 pandemic. From 2015 to 2019, they worked at AIESEC in various roles, including Regional Manager, Asia Pacific, Managing Director, Vice President, B2B for Global Volunteer and Director of Partnership Development. In 2014, they worked as a Licensing Sales Specialist Intern at Microsoft and as a Campus Ambassador at Teach For Australia.

Jessie Yu obtained a Victorian Certificate of Education from Mac.Robertson Girls' High School between 2008 and 2011. Jessie then went on to study Economics and Geography at the University of Melbourne, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts and a Diploma in Languages (Chinese) between 2012 and 2015. In 2015, Jessie completed a Language Intensive at Fudan University, studying Chinese Language and Literature. In March 2022, they obtained a certification in Strategies to Foster Inclusive Language at Work from LinkedIn.
