Courtney Thraen

Courtney Thraen, AICP has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Courtney is currently serving as the Associate Director of Business Solutions at the Workforce Development Board of Central Ohio, where they establish and maintains relationships with stakeholders and supports industry sector partnerships. Prior to this, Courtney worked as the Economic Development Manager for the City of Gahanna, where they coordinated business retention and expansion efforts and implemented economic development strategies. Courtney also served as the Executive Director at Downtown Framingham, Inc., a non-profit organization focused on revitalizing downtown Framingham. Courtney has experience in program coordination, planning, and research, having worked at organizations such as Boston University, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, and the University of Massachusetts. Additionally, they have military experience, having served in various leadership roles within the U.S. Navy. Overall, Courtney's work experience showcases their expertise in economic development, workforce development, and project management.
