Shihong Khor

Shihong Khor has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Shihong began their career as an intern at HwangDBS Investment Bank Ltd, where they developed efficient spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel for investment verification and accounting. Shihong then joined Public Bank as an Executive in the Treasury Division before moving on to Capital Dynamics Sdn Bhd as an Investment and Economics Analyst, where they led analysis and reporting for the Malaysian economy.

After that, Shihong worked as a Research Analyst at Peter Partnership Limited, playing a key role in assisting with the start-up of an investment advisory company. Shihong also performed global equity analysis and shortlisting of undervalued businesses.

Shihong's next role was as the CEO and Lead Trainer at Mainstreeter Academy, where they managed a long-term equity portfolio and used a value-based approach for investments.

Shihong then joined Taylor's Education Group, starting as the Special Aide to the Group CEO, where they were directly involved in annual strategic planning exercises. Shihong later became the Manager of Marketing and Student Recruitment, where they developed operating frameworks and processes that drove customer acquisition. Shihong also served as a Strategic Planning Analyst for a short-term contract with Taylor's.

Currently, Shihong is the Associate Director of Operations at Workforce Optimizer - AI Enabled WFM. In this role, they lead the Project Management Office, managing multiple projects across various sectors.

Throughout their career, Shihong has demonstrated leadership, analytical capabilities, and a track record of driving growth and enhancing corporate functions.

Shihong Khor started their education journey at St Xavier's Institution, where they attended primary school from 1991 to 1996. Shihong then went on to Penang Free School and completed their SPM from 1997 to 2001. Following that, they pursued their A-Levels at National Junior College between 2002 and 2003. Shihong continued their academic journey at Bucknell University, where they obtained a B Sc. degree in Economics and Mathematics from 2004 to 2008.
