Liz Mackey has extensive experience in financial operations, currently serving as a Contracts Assistant at Workforce Solutions for Tarrant County since October 2007, where responsibilities include assisting with contracts, financial reporting, accounts payable, compliance, and expenditures. Prior to this role, Liz held the position of Accounting Specialist at DynCorp International from July 2005 to October 2007, focusing on processing timesheets, reconciliation reports, and government contract billing invoices. Liz began a career in finance as a Loan Servicing Specialist at JPMorgan Chase & Co. from September 2003 to July 2005, addressing various transaction processes related to loans and accounts. Liz holds an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Business from The University of New Mexico.

Workforce Solutions for Tarrant County (WSTC), under the direction of the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC), is one of 28 local workforce development boards located throughout the state. WSTC’s primary goal is to meet the needs of Tarrant County employers and workers through locally designed market-driven workforce development initiatives and services. All employers, workers and job seekers are eligible to take advantage of these services. The 29-member Workforce Development Board (WDB) is made up of business and community leaders and is chaired by Gracie Vega, with The Gaylord Texan Resort and Conference Center. The WDB work in partnership with the Workforce Governing Board (WGB), which is composed of Fort Worth Mayor Mattie Parker, Arlington Mayor Jim Ross and chaired by Tarrant County Judge Tim O’Hare, to oversee Workforce services in Tarrant County.
